The Phoenix Suns are about to get a massive boost to their lineup.
ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal will make their return to the lineup on Tuesday evening when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers in Emirates NBA Cup action.
Durant has been out with a calf strain, which he re-aggravated in the Suns' win over the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 8.
Durant led the team in scoring against the Mavericks, finishing with 26 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Through the Suns' first nine games of the season, the 14-time All-Star is averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists and helped the team to an 8-1 start. Without Durant in the lineup, the Suns have lost six of their last seven games.
Beal, also suffering from a calf injury, has been sidelined from game action since Nov. 12.
The 31-year-old is averaging 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 34.8 minutes per game.
Sitting at 1-1 in the NBA Cup, the Suns will look to get into the win column again as they face LeBron James and the 2-0 Lakers. You can watch all the action on Sportsnet One and Sportsnet+ on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
