The Phoenix Suns are off to a hot this season, but will now be without one of their stars for at least the next two weeks.
ESPN's Shams Charania reported Saturday that Kevin Durant suffered a left calf strain in the team's win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Durant led the team in scoring against the Mavericks, finishing with 26 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Through the Suns' first nine games of the season, the 14-time All-Star is averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists and has helped the team to an 8-1 start.
