The most intriguing big man on the market has found a home.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed centre Isaiah Hartenstein to a three-year, $87 million contract, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported on Monday.
Hartenstein, 26, was a solid contributor at the five for the New York Knicks last season, averaging 7.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals+blocks last season as his role grew from bench big to reliable starter.
His 3.3 offensive rebounds per game were fifth in the NBA despite limited action and his 14.4 offensive rebounding percentage was second in the league.
The Thunder have been on a roll this off-season, trading for hounding perimeter defender Alex Caruso and penning long-term extensions with Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins on Monday.
They'll now add one of the best free agent centres to pair with Rookie of the Year finalist Chet Holmgren.
