The Toronto Raptors have signed free-agent guard Kobi Simmons to a 10-day contract, the team confirmed on Monday.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the agreement on Sunday.
Simmons, 26, signed an NBA deal with Charlotte almost a year ago, but was waived by the Hornets on Aug. 30. He has played in 23 games for Raptors 905 of the G League this season, averaging 15.1 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in 31.6 minutes per game.
The six-foot-five guard out of Arizona has 38 games of NBA experience (with Memphis, Cleveland, and Charlotte), averaging 5.3 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.4 rebounds.
