Report: Wizards, Suns finalize deal for Bradley Beal

The Phoenix Suns have apparently finalized the deal to acquire three-time all-star Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards.

In addition to Chris Paul and Landry Shamet, as previously reported, the Wizards will receive six second-round draft picks plus four first-round pick swaps, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wojnarowski also reported Thursday that the Wizards are expanding the trade by sending Paul to the Golden State Warriors for a package that includes Jordan Poole and draft picks.

Tim Bontemps of ESPN reported that the Suns and Wizards waited to make the deal official until Washington was able to find a third team to relocate Paul.

The 29-year-old Beal averaged 23.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this past season. He now forms a "Big Three" core on the Suns with superstars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.

Phoenix fell in six games to the eventual champion Denver Nuggets during the second round of the NBA playoffs. Head coach Monty Williams was fired and Frank Vogel was hired as his replacement earlier this month.
