Guard Dante Exum will be out indefinitely due to a broken bone in his left hand, ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Friday.
Exum, 29, sustained the injury in the second quarter of the Mavericks' game against the Houston Rockets on Friday, immediately heading down the tunnel.
The Australian has appeared in just 17 games on the season, scoring 9.5 points and dishing 2.9 assists per contest.
He joins Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively III, Daniel Gafford and Olivier-Maxence Prosper on the sidelines in Dallas, which returns to the court Sunday to face the similarly injury-riddled Philadelphia 76ers.
