Mere days before NBA pre-season kicks off the 2024-25 campaign, the landscape of the league has once again shifted.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly working on a deal to send All-Star centre Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks in a package centred around forward Julius Randle and guard Donte DiVincenzo.
It was no secret that New York was in need of talent in the centre department, and with Minnesota's focus on building around budding superstar Anthony Edwards, it appears the stars have aligned on one of the biggest trades of the off-season.
Add to the drama the prospect that Towns seemingly learned about the trade at the same time the rest of the NBA world did through social media.
Full details won't be clear until the deal is official, with a third team needed to facilitate the transaction between the two first apron teams, but until then, here are the best reactions to the blockbuster move between the Knicks and Timberwolves
