A Phoenix Suns team already sliding down the standings just took another hit.
Guard Bradley Beal left Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers with a calf injury and will not return.
It is unclear when the injury occurred.
Beal started and played 15 minutes but failed to score while recording two assists and two rebounds.
Phoenix, loaded with star power including Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Beal, has won just two of its past 10 games to fall to 11th in the Western Conference.
At 28-33 entering Tuesday's action, the Suns sat 3.5 games back of the Dallas Mavericks for the final spot in the West's play-in tournament.
