Suns say Devin Booker left Game 2 vs. Pelicans due to hamstring injury

Superstar guard Devin Booker exited Game 2 of the Phoenix Suns' Western Conference first round series against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night due to a hamstring injury.

Booker scored a team-high 31 points in the first half including seven 3-pointers.

The 25-year-old Booker did not return to the court for the third quarter and left due to right hamstring tightness, according to the team.

Booker finished the regular season with a team-leading 26.8 points per game average

New Orleans won the game 125-114 to tie the series. Phoenix defeated New Orleans 110-99 in Game 1 this past Sunday.
