Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker will be out at least four more weeks with a left groin strain, the team announced on Wednesday.
Booker returned from a three-game absence on Christmas Day against the Denver Nuggets, but then re-aggravated the injury after just four minutes and exited early.
In his eighth season, the three-time NBA all-star is averaging a career-high 27.1 points per game.
The Suns are short-handed with Cam Payne, Landry Shamet and Cam Johnson all out for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards. Bismack Biyombo is questionable.
After the game in Washington, the Suns travel to Toronto for a game against the Raptors on Friday.
