Toronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. will make his return to the lineup for the team's game against the Boston Celtics Wednesday night.
Trent Jr., 24, has been inactive with back spasms and an elbow injury since Toronto's loss against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 19.
In 63 games with Toronto this season, Trent Jr. has averaged 17.7 points on 43.4 per cent shooting.
On the other side of Wednesday's matchup, the Celtics will be without forward Jayson Tatum (hip) and guard Marcus Smart (neck).
Both Tatum and Smart played on Tuesday for the Eastern Conference's No. 2 seed against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Raptors and Celtics play both Wednesday and Friday as both teams are battling for higher seeding with three games remaining in the regular season.
