Golden State Warriors sophomore centre James Wiseman will miss the rest of the NBA season and the entirety of the playoffs due to an ongoing right knee injury.
Wiseman has yet to play in an NBA game this season after undergoing surgery on a torn meniscus in April 2021.
The 2020 second-overall pick played in three games with the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors earlier this month, but will now be kept our due to swelling in his knee.
The Warriors cited Wiseman's long-term health as a priority.
The 20-year-old averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in his rookie year last season.
