The NBA has postponed Friday’s tilt between the Mavericks and Rockets due to government shutdown of Toyota Center because of severe weather conditions in Houston, the league announced Thursday.

The NBA says the game will be rescheduled at a later date.

Earlier Thursday, the NHL postponed Saturday’s game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Dallas Stars, marking four straight home games for the Stars to be called off because of frigid conditions and power outages in Texas.
