Nets’ James Harden ruled out vs. Warriors with hand strain

The Brooklyn Nets have ruled out James Harden for Saturday’s game against the Golden State Warriors due to a right hand strain.

According to ESPN’s Kendra Andrews, Nets head coach Steve Nash said Harden had been feeling discomfort in his hand for quite some time, but thought it was fine. Following a Saturday morning morning flare up, tests revealed a strain.

Harden missed Wednesday’s contest against the Denver Nuggets due to a hamstring injury.

The nine-time All-Star is currently averaging 23 points, 10.1 assists and 8.1 rebounds in the 42 games he’s played this season.
