The Raptors are putting some final touches on their roster and salary situations as they prepare for the NBA Draft.
Toronto has waived forward Mouhamadou Gueye, freeing up a two-way spot on its roster, the team announced Tuesday.
With the move, the Raptors have opened up a second two-way spot on the roster with the final slot taken up by guard D.J. Carton. Two-way spots can be used for teams wishing to sign undrafted free agents following the NBA Draft later this week.
Gueye, 25, had limited action with the Raptors last season, averaging 2.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 11 appearances with the team. He spent most of the year with the 905, averaging 13.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 26 games.
