Report: Eric Gordon to sign with Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are set to sign veteran shooting guard Eric Gordon, the Athletic’s Shams Charania reported on Sunday.

PHLY Sports’ Kyle Neubeck reported that it will be a minimum deal.

Gordon, 35, is one of the more reliable veteran scorers in the league. Over the course of his 16-year career, he has played for five different teams and averaged 15.7 points on 37.1 per cent from 3-point range.

He played for the Phoenix Suns last season after signing a two-year minimum deal and contributed with a solid 11.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals on 44.3 per cent from the field and 37.8 per cent from deep.

Gordon will now reunite with former GM Daryl Morey, with whom he played for while on the Houston Rockets.
