Report: Patrick Williams intends to return to Bulls on five-year, $90M contract

The 2020 fourth overall pick is staying in Chicago.

Patrick Williams intends to re-sign with the Chicago Bulls on a five-year, $90 million contract, The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported on Saturday.

The power forward was a restricted free agent at the conclusion of last season. He played 43 games for the Bulls in 2023-24, averaging 10 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 39.9 per cent from three.

The 22-year-old had his best season in 2022-23, when he played a career-high 82 games, with 28.3 minutes and 10.2 points per game.

Williams was named to the All-Rookie Second Team in 2021.
