Report: Raptors sign free agent guard Javon Freeman-Liberty to two-way contract

The Toronto Raptors have reportedly signed free agent guard Javon Freeman-Liberty to a two-way contract Friday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 23-year-old guard went undrafted before joining the Chicago Bulls on July 7, 2022. He was waived on Oct. 7, 2022 before rejoining the Bulls for this year’s Summer League.

Freeman-Liberty averaged 21 points per game for the Bulls in Las Vegas and was named to the All-Summer League Second Team.

The deal is the final two-way contract the Raptors have at their disposal this season, as Freeman-Liberty joins Ron Harper Jr. and Markquis Nowell who have already agreed to their two-way deals.

Toronto still has one final NBA roster spot available as well.
