Report: Strus, Cavaliers agree to four-year, $63-million sign and trade

The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a four-year $63-million deal with Max Strus, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

As part of the deal, Miami will acquire a second-round pick, while the San Antonio Spurs acquire Cedi Osman, Lamar Stevens, and a second-round pick.

Strus went from relative unknown to playoff folk hero this spring, averaging 9.3 PPG to go along with 3.6 RPG and 1.4 APG.

That strong run of play included a stretch during the second round and conference finals where the Illinois native averaged double digit points per game for Miami en route to the club’s improbable NBA Finals run.
