Schroder active, Dick to make first start for Raptors vs. Bucks

After being listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors guard Dennis Schroder is active and will be in the starting lineup.

The Raptors will be without O.G. Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr., who were considered doubtful after missing the team’s comeback win over the Washington Wizards on Monday.

In Anunoby’s place, rookie Gradey Dick will make his first career start. The 19-year-old has averaged 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and one assist per game this season.

Dick joins Tracy McGrady and Chris Bosh as the only teenagers to start for the Raptors.

Schroder is averaging 15.4 points and 7.7 assists per game so far in the 2023-24 campaign.

The Bucks won’t be at full strength either, as star forward Giannis Antentokounmpo was ruled out with a calf strain.

Antetokounmpo has played in 10 games this season, averaging 29.5 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest.

Toronto is 5-5 through its first 10 games, but has won three of its last four and will look to hold off the 6-4 Bucks at home.
