‘We are all Pistons’: NBA fans react to Detroit snapping historic losing streak

The Detroit Pistons came into Saturday’s game against the Toronto Raptors without a win in 63 days.

Even the Texas Rangers had more recently won a game…

But that all changed Saturday when the Pistons beat the Raptors 129-127 for their first win since Oct. 28.

With the win, the Pistons avoided setting a new NBA record for longest losing streak, and instead will remain tied for the worst with 28 straight losses.

Basketball fans around the world rushed to social media to celebrate the end of the historic skid.

Perhaps the only people not happy about the Pistons’ win were Raptors fans and Wingstop employees in Detroit.

Wingstop has a promotion going that for every Pistons win, fans were eligible for five free boneless wings. If you’re doing the math, that means only 10 free wings all season.

Now it’s 15!

And with so many days between wins, it could mean long lines at Wingstops around Detroit.

Here is a look at some of the best reactions to the Pistons’ big win:
