The NFL never really stops, so the off-season continues with the draft starting Thursday night.
The first round begins at 8 p.m. ET, the second and third rounds are on Friday starting at 7 p.m. ET and the fourth through seventh rounds are on Saturday starting at noon ET.
Here is a look at the draft order for the first round, including the trades involving each pick. Note that there are only 31 selections in the first round after the NFL stripped the Miami Dolphins' first-round selection after a tampering investigation into owner Stephen Ross.
1. Carolina Panthers (from Chicago)
• The Panthers received the No. 1 pick in the draft after making a trade with the Chicago Bears for the ninth overall pick, DJ Moore and second-round picks in 2023 and 2025.

• Seattle acquired this pick in the trade that sent Russell Wilson and a 2022 fourth-round selection to Denver for Drew Lock, Shelby Harris, Noah Fant, first and second-round selections in 2023 and the Broncos' first, second, and fifth-round selections in 2022.
6. Detroit Lions (from L.A. Rams)
• The Lions acquired the Rams' first-round selection as well as their 2021 third-round and 2022 first-round selections, and quarterback Jared Goff to Detroit in exchange for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

• Acquired in the trade that sent quarterback Deshaun Watson to the Browns.

• The Packers and Jets swapped first-round picks in the deal that sent Aaron Rodgers to New York

• Miami → Denver: Miami traded San Francisco's pick, a 2024 fourth-round selection, and running back Chase Edmonds to Denver in exchange for Bradley Chubb and a 2025 fifth-round selection
• Denver → New Orleans. Denver traded San Francisco's selection and a 2024 second-round selection to New Orleans in exchange for the coaching rights to former Saints head coach Sean Payton and a 2024 third-round selection.
