After Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed during their game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, requiring emergency medical attention, the sports world took to social media to let their support for the young player be heard.
Hamlin was quickly transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition after receiving CPR on the field. The game was initially suspended due to players and coaches, in an act of solidarity, not willing to take the field to continue playing. The NFL eventually announced the official postponement of the game.
