One of the most accomplished offensive linemen in recent NFL history has retired after two decades in the league.
Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider announced Tuesday that Jason Peters has retired and joined the team's front office in the players' affairs department.
Peters, 43, spent last season on the Seahawks' practice squad.
A veteran of 248 games, Peters played the majority of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles, winning the Super Bowl in 2019. He made his debut with the Bills and also played for the Bears and Cowboys before his final season with the Seahawks in 2023.
Peters was an all-pro twice in his career and was named to the Pro Bowl nine times.
