The Cleveland Browns announced the hiring of Catherine Raiche as assistant general manager and vice president of football operations Thursday afternoon.
The Montreal native previously served as an executive with the Philadelphia Eagles. Raiche will re-unite with Browns GM Andrew Berry, who she worked with in Philadelphia when he served as VP of football operations.
In a press release, the Browns said that in her new role Raiche "will help manage the day-to-day operations of the team and contribute to all strategic roster decisions across the player personnel and football ops verticals."
She began her football career in the CFL as an intern for the Montreal Alouettes. She worked her way up to becoming the CFL's first female assistant GM before leaving for the Toronto Argonauts.
Raiche had been with the Eagles organization since 2019, first joining as football operations coordinator. She was then promoted to VP of football operations in 2021.
