The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to a four-year contract extension with defensive tackle Vita Vea.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the extension for Vea is worth over $73 million. The 26-year-old has appeared in 15 games this season for Tampa Bay recording 31 tackles, five tackles for a loss, three defended passes, a fumble recovery and a career-high four sacks.
The Buccaneers selected Vea with the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft and he was signed to a deal until the end of the 2022 season. In 49 career games, the California native has recorded 104 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 31 quarterback hits, 16 tackles for loss, six passes defended and one fumble recovery.
