The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed Canadian cornerback Tevaughn Campbell to their active roster, the NFL team announced Thursday.
The Los Angeles Chargers released the Toronto native after training camp. The Las Vegas Raiders then signed Campbell to their practice roster before the Jaguars brought him aboard.
In 2021, he had 38 tackles (30 solo), four passes defenced, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 16 games, making seven starts for the Chargers.
Before going to the NFL in 2019, the 29-year-old Regina Rams product played four years in the CFL with the Calgary Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Alouettes.
The Jaguars face the Denver Broncos on Sunday in London.
