Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray says he will play in the regular-season finale against the Los Angeles Rams despite nursing a leg injury.
Murray suffered a right leg injury on the Cardinals’ final play against the San Francisco 49ers after he was hit by Alex Barrett. If he is unable to play, former CFL quarterback Chris Streveler, who has never thrown a pass in an NFL game, would get the start.
Arizona needs to defeat the Rams in order to clinch their first playoff berth since the 2015 season. Los Angeles will be without starting quarterback Jared Goff, who had surgery on his thumb, and wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who was placed on the reserve/COVID list.
