The Indianapolis Colts have downgraded quarterback Anthony Richardson to doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After initially listing their starting quarterback as questionable with an oblique injury, the team updated his status Saturday.
The team will likely turn to Joe Flacco as their starter for Sunday's game. The veteran came on in relief of Richardson who left their last game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and threw two passes in the win.
The 39-year-old joined the Colts in the off-season after leading the Cleveland Browns to the post-season. His efforts earned him the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award, becoming the oldest player to win the award since 1963.
This is the second significant injury the Colts are dealing with on offence, with starting running back Jonathan Taylor not playing because of an ankle injury.
