As Dallas Cowboys fans made a swift move to the exits at AT&T Stadium, others were calling for owner Jerry Jones to make a drastic move.
With the Green Bay Packers dominating the Cowboys in Sunday's NFC Wild-Card Round, many were calling for Mike McCarthy to be fired. Cowboys fans were quick to give their thoughts on who they would prefer as his replacement in now former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Now if the Cowboys do decide that they want to look at Belichick, they will have some competition according to former NFLer Rob Gronkowski.
"Don't expect Coach Belichick to be done from here on out. He's coming back with [a] vengeance. And I've been hearing on the streets that the Atlanta Falcons are coming in hot for Coach Belichick," Gronkowski said during the FOX NFL Sunday broadcast.
Belichick and the Patriots agreed to mutually part ways, ending a 24-year tenure where New England won six Super Bowls, nine AFC titles, and 17 division championships in 19 years.
One caution is Belichick's 29-38 record since Tom Brady left the Patriots with his team missing the playoffs in three of the four seasons since.
