Miami Dolphins defensive back Jason McCourty announced his retirement from the NFL on Friday.
McCourty played in seven games last season for Miami.
The 34-year-old appeared in 173 games during his 13-year career, playing for the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Dolphins. He recorded 18 interceptions, nine forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and three touchdowns.
McCourty played alongside his twin brother Devin for three seasons (2018-2020) as a member of the Patriots, and was a part of the Super Bowl LIII winning team.
