The Detroit Lions were able to hold off a fourth-quarter push from the visiting Los Angeles Rams to earn a 24-23 victory in Sunday's NFC wild-card game.
It was the first home playoff game for the Lions in 30 years as Jared Goff threw for 277 yards and a touchdown to prevail against his former team.
The Lions prevailed despite big games from former quarterback Matthew Stafford, who threw for 367 yards and two touchdowns, and rookie receiver Puka Nacua, who made nine receptions for 181 yards and a touchdown.
