The NFL and NFLPA announced on Tuesday that 14 players and 31 other team personnel tested positive for COVID-19 during the week from December 13-19.
In a statement, the NFL and NFLPA say 41,501 tests were administered to 6,927 players and personal over that span.
Individuals who test positive for the virus “are immediately isolated, not permitted access (to) club facilities or (to) have direct contact with players or personnel,” the statement reads.
From Aug. 1 to Dec. 19, the NFL has administered 840,460 COVID-19 tests to players and personnel, returning 201 confirmed positive cases among players and 359 among personnel.
