The Indianapolis Colts say they will continue to monitor star running back Jonathan Taylor's ankle injury heading into Thursday night's game against the Denver Broncos.
Taylor, the NFL's rushing leader last season, exited Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans after suffering the injury in the fourth quarter.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports tests came back clean but the short turnaround makes his status unclear for Thursday.
The Colts have ruled out linebacker Shaquille Leonard (concussion) for Thursday's game.
The Broncos also have concerns at running back.
Denver's Javonte Williams is out for the season with a torn ACL, Rapoport says.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons have placed star running back Cordarrelle Patterson on IR with a knee injury, meaning he will miss at least four weeks.
Patterson is fourth in the league in rushing this season.
Buffalo Bills
Rapoport reports Bills receiver Jamison Crowder suffered a fractured ankle in his team's dramatic win over the Baltimore Ravens Sunday.
The Bills are thin at the slot receiver position after Isaiah McKenzie also was removed on Sunday when he went into concussion protocol.
The Bills host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
New York Giants
Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is considered day-to-day, Rapoport reports, after suffering an ankle injury in a win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Backup Tyrod Taylor also was hurt on Sunday, going into concussion protocol.
Former Bill Davis Webb is the team's third-stringer.
The Giants travel to London to face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
Carolina Panthers
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold will remain out a while with a high ankle sprain.
Darnold is eligible to come off injured reserve this week.
Tennessee Titans
Rapoport reports first-round pick Treylon Burks has been diagnosed with turf toe.
Burks is expected to miss multiple weeks, but will not require surgery.
