Many football fans this week are going to be asking: are the Arizona Cardinals the best team in the NFL?
In many senses it’s subjective. What’s not is the fact the Cardinals remain the league’s lone unbeaten and have entrenched themselves as legitimate Super Bowl contenders in 2021 after the team improved to 6-0 by stomping all over the Cleveland Browns.
At the other end of the spectrum, there remains just one winless team and once again it is the lowly Detroit Lions after Dan Campbell’s tears failed to magically turn his players into worldbeaters and they were steamrolled by Cincinnati.
The Packers, Cowboys and Ravens began the season a combined 0-3 but all won on Sunday to improve to a perfect 15-0 since Week 1. Meanwhile, the Colts, Vikings, Raiders and Steelers all earned wins that helped keep playoff aspirations alive.
Nine teams put up more than 30 points on a high-scoring Sunday that saw three games require overtime and another ended on a last-second regulation field goal.
Here’s what else you missed from an action-packed Sunday in Week 6.
