Another Green Bay Packers rookie is on the shelf.
Offensive lineman Jordan Morgan has been placed on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury, the team announced, joining third-round running back MarShawn Lloyd.
Cornerback Robert Rochell has been signed to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move.
The Packers selected Morgan with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft to help shore up the offensive line after parting ways with longtime left tackle and two-time All-Pro David Bakhtiari.
Morgan, a University of Arizona product, has been dealing with a shoulder injury since the summer, causing him to miss valuable reps and, ultimately, game action. He has suited up in six games this season, starting one.
The six-foot-five lineman will miss the next four weeks at minimum, making him eligible to return in Week 15 against Seattle. The Packers' offensive line has allowed 69 pressures, the third-fewest in the league, per Pro Football Focus.
Green Bay (6-3) returns to action after a bye in Week 10 to take on the division rival Chicago Bears (4-5).
