The New England Patriots will be looking to win five games in a row for the first time in over two years when they visit the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night as 7-point road favourites on the NFL odds for Week 11 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.
New England made a statement with last weekend’s 45-7 victory over Cleveland that puts the team squarely in the AFC playoff picture going into Thursday night’s matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Patriots have averaged 37.5 points per game while surrendering just 12.5 points per game during their four-game surge, and New England’s steady offensive production has generated a 5-1 run for the OVER at betting sites. In addition, Pats quarterback Mac Jones has emerged as a legitimate contender on the NFL Rookie of the Year odds during New England’s current run, trailing only Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase as a +110 wager.
The Falcons, meanwhile, return home after suffering an ugly 43-3 loss in Dallas last weekend. Atlanta has compiled a respectable 4-3 SU record over its past seven games, but in addition to going 1-3 SU at home this season the Falcons have also been limited to just 14.3 points per game over their past three outings. As well, the Falcons are winless SU and ATS in their past six dates with New England according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
Also this week, the Buffalo Bills will be trying to maintain their slim lead over New England atop the AFC East standings when they host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday as 7-point chalk. The Bills are coming off a 45-17 rout of the New York Jets, but have failed to tally consecutive wins over their past four outings while covering just once during that stretch.
The Colts hit the road after topping Jacksonville 23-17 last weekend to improve to 4-1 SU over their past five games. Indianapolis is also riding a steady 5-2 ATS run, but is 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS in its last four trips to Highmark Stadium.
Elsewhere on the Week 11 NFL odds, divisional leaders clash as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Dallas Cowboys as 2.5-point betting favourites. The Chiefs have rebounded from a shaky start, posting three straight SU wins to reclaim their familiar perch atop the AFC West. The Cowboys’ demolition of Atlanta last weekend lifted their record to 7-2, and marked the third time in seven outings that they have topped 40 points.
Also, a pair of slumping AFC squads looking to return to the playoff picture meet, as the Las Vegas Raiders host the Cincinnati Bengals as 1-point underdogs, while the Tennessee Titans host the Houston Texans as 10.5-point chalk in a battle of first versus worst in the AFC South.
