San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has a broken bone in his right foot and will be out for the next eight weeks, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
As a result of the timeline, Kittle could miss the remainder of the 2020 season. The All-Pro tight end has 37 receptions for 474 yards and two touchdowns in six games this year.
Schefter also reported that 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is out for at least six weeks with a high ankle sprain.
The 49ers (4-4) open Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers (5-2) on Thursday night.
