Report: 49ers TE Kittle inactive vs. Seahawks due to groin injury

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is inactive for the team's Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Kittle did not play in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears.

The 2019 first-team All-Pro selection has played in 22 regular season games since the start of the 2020 campaign.

Kittle has recorded 335 receptions for 4,489 yards and 20 touchdowns in 67 career appearances.

The 49ers dropped their season opener to the Chicago Bears in Week 1 after squandering a first-half lead.
