Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with a concussion while wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is considered questionable for the contest, head coach Zac Taylor announced Friday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Mixon suffered the concussion during last week’s victory over Pittsburgh. Samaje Perine scored three touchdowns, playing extended snaps in Mixon’s stead.
Mixon leads the team with 506 yards on 148 carries. He’s also caught 41 passes for 314 yards. He has eight total touchdowns— six rushing and two receiving.
Chase, who has been out since Oct. 27 after re-aggravating a hip injury against the Atlanta Falcons, is listed as questionable.
Chase has caught 47 of his 74 targets for 605 yards and six touchdowns in the 2022 season.
The Bengals defeated the Titans in the Divisional Round of last year's playoffs en route to a Super Bowl appearance and loss.
