The Cincinnati Bengals made a big splash on the unofficial first day of free agency by agreeing to a four-year, $60-million contract with top pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Hendrickson was third in the NFL with 13.5 sacks last season as a member of the New Orleans Saints after recording 6.5 sacks in the three seasons prior. The 26-year-old is expected to replace Carl Lawson who left Cincinnati to join the New York Jets.

New Orleans selected Hendrickson in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft
