The Carolina Panthers have agreed to a one-year deal with outside linebacker Haason Reddick worth up to $8 million, according to multiple reports.

Reddick's deal includes $6 million of guaranteed money. The 26-year-old posted 12.5 sacks in 16 games (11 starts) with the Arizona Cardinals in 2020.

In three previous seasons, Reddick compiled just 7.5 sacks in 48 games. Now, the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft has an opportunity to prove his worth on a short-term deal and potentially cash in later.

In Carolina, Reddick figures to work opposite Brian Burns, a 2019 first-rounder who had nine sacks last season.

Prior to his NFL career, Reddick spent four years at Temple University, where he was coached by now-Panthers head coach Matt Rhule.
