The New York Giants can’t catch a break.
Defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence II dislocated his elbow in the Giant’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN reported after the game.
The two-time All-Pro has missed only two games in his career and leads the G-Men with nine sacks this season.
Lawrence joins a long list of injured Giants, including quarterback Tommy DeVito, defensive end Rakeem Nunez-Roches and cornerback Deonte Banks.
After falling to 2-8 against the Carolina Panthers on Nov. 10, New York first benched and then released longtime quarterback Daniel Jones in favour of DeVito. The change has not achieved positive results, as the Giants have lost both of their games since.
