After months of speculation and repeated efforts to rebuff the program, the New York Jets have reportedly been selected by the NFL and NFL Films to feature on this season’s edition of Hard Knocks.
The long-running series, which follows an NFL team through training camp, is set to be on site when the Jets break camp on July 18th.
Alongside the Jets, the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and Washington Commanders all lacked any of the three criteria to reject the show, which includes having a first-year coach in place, a playoff berth in the last two seasons, or a Hard Knocks appearance in the last 10 years.
Jets coach Robert Saleh also expressed disinterest in having the cameras around, which will likely only add to the circuis of attention as Aaron Rodgers continues acclimating to his new club.
