The New England Patriots have reportedly reached a four-year, $50 million deal with former Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Smith, 25, set career marks in both yards and touchdowns with the Titans last season, racking up 448 yards and eight touchdowns in 15 games.

He will add a much-needed spark to the New England passing attack, as the Patriots ranked 30th in the league last season in terms of total passing yards.

New England recently signed quarterback Cam Newton to a new one-year deal, hoping he can improve on a disappointing 2020 campaign.
