Don't expect Bill Belichick to be in new colours anytime soon.
According to a report from the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Belichick and the New England Patriots agreed to a lucrative multi-year contract extension in the off-season.
The report comes with the Patriots off to a 1-5 start — their worst in a season under Belichick. Rapoport believes that despite some speculation about Belichick's future with the team, because of the extension, he is expected to remain with the team for the foreseeable future.
Belichick is currently just 18 more wins behind the legendary Don Shula for the most wins by a head coach in NFL history.
The man who most believe to be the greatest coach in NFL history, Belichick has a 299-157 overall record as a head coach that includes an NFL record six Super Bowl victories.
