Aidan O'Connell reportedly is returning to the starting role for the Las Vegas Raiders.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Monday that O'Connell is expected to start in the Black Friday game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 2022 fourth-round pick has been on IR since Week 7 when he suffered a fractured thumb in his second start of the season after replacing Gardner Minshew.
Minshew is out for the season after suffering a broken collarbone in Sunday's loss against the Denver Broncos.
Desmond Ridder is the other quarterback on the Vegas roster.
O'Connell was 5-5 as a starter in his rookie season last year and is 0-2 this year.
The 2-9 Raiders are heavy underdogs against the AFC-leading Chiefs (10-1).
