Baltimore Ravens star cornerback Marlon Humphrey is expected to miss at least the start of the season with a foot injury, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.
Rapoport says Humphrey is expected to have surgery on Wednesday and the team is hopeful he returns in a little over a month.
The Ravens' season opener is Sept. 10 against the Houston Texans.
A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Humphrey was picked in the first round (16th overall) by the Ravens in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
Humphrey is in the third year of a five-year, $97.5-million deal.
