With their top two quarterbacks down, the Baltimore Ravens are bringing in a veteran presence.
The Ravens are finalizing a trade to acquire QB Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday.
Brissett, 33, started Arizona's first eight games of the season, but was benched on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys and replaced by Gardner Minshew.
Now, he will join a Ravens team that is in desperate need of quarterback help.
Both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley suffered what are expected to be season-ending injuries on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, leaving third-stringer Joe Fagnano to finish the game.
Wednesday's trade will not be finalized in time for Baltimore's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, which means Fagnano will make his first career start, per Schefter.
Still, Brissett is expected to make his Ravens debut in Week 10 against the winless Los Angeles Chargers.
