Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is officially inactive for the team's Week 1 opener against the Houston Texans, the team announced.
Andrews was listed as questionable after participating in a limited capacity in practice after missing six straight sessions with the injury.
"I'm feeling good," Andrews said, told reporters about his injury. "I've obviously taken some time off and been slowly working back in. It's been one of those things that's been a little tricky. But I'm feeling better running around, just day by day getting better and we'll see what happens."
Andrews joins Travis Kelce as the top tight ends to miss their team's season opener. With Andrews sidelined, Isaiah Likely should be expected to step in as the Ravens tight end and see targets from Lamar Jackson.
The 28-year-old made it to his third Pro Bowl last season after recording 73 catches for 847 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games.
